When we hear the word “working out” we hear the word "work" and in our already busy lives additional work sounds to much like a chore. However, exercising or improving our strength doesn’t have to be hard. In fact, simply just increasing movement by walking may be a key to improving mental and physical health. Check out these simple steps to improving your wellness:

1. The three G’s

Get up, Get out, and Get moving at least 30min. a day.

2. Avoid bad habits

Try to avoid sitting for long periods of time, try and get up and move a few minutes every hour.

3. The Buddy System

If you're looking to achieve a goal, having a friend could help you reach your target. Working out with a friend holds you accountable to show up, provides motivation for both parties, and encourages competition to maintain a happier & healthier you.

4. Write down your goal

Creating a list helps you to stay on track by clearly defining your goals and allowing you to take them on one step at a time.
